Welcome to Southern Veterinary Mobile Ultrasound & Consultation
Southern Veterinary Mobile Ultrasound & Consultation (SVMUC) is a referral based mobile practice providing diagnostic ultrasound as well as internal medicine-based case consultation to the referring practitioner as well as other services. We will review provided case history/diagnostics/therapies prior to the visit to aide provided consultation.
If you are a veterinarian interested in partnering with SVMUC please submit referral form (can be found under referral tab) and we will contact you to schedule an appointment. If you are a pet owner, please contact your veterinarian to discuss your pet’s diagnostic needs.

What does Practice Limited to Internal Medicine Mean?
- This title is for a veterinarian that has completed residency training in addition to other requirements for board certification but has not completed certification requirements.
- A “Practice Limited” veterinarian has completed extensive additional training beyond veterinary school consisting of at minimum a 1-year internship followed by a 3-year residency program. During the residency, a candidate completes specific training and caseload requirements per the guidelines from that candidate’s specialty college. In addition to the residency training, each candidate for board certification has to complete a series of testing as well as perform research that is published in a scientific journal.
