Amanda Traub, DVM; Practice Limited to Internal Medicine

Dr. Amanda Traub grew up in southern Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She completed a small animal rotating internship in her hometown of Mandeville, Louisiana at MedVet Mandeville. She completed a 3 year Internal Medicine Residency also at MedVet Mandeville/New Orleans Louisiana. She completed both the Small Animal Internal Medicine General and Specialty examinations as part of the ACVIM credentialling process. In the Fall of 2014, she moved to Virginia Beach to work at a local referral center in the internal medicine department. She worked at the referral center for about 8 years prior to transitioning to mobile internal medicine services. Dr. Traub took over Dr. Kremer’s mobile internal medicine based consultation and ultrasound practice in June 2023.

She currently lives in Virginia Beach with her partner Ryan. We have two special cats (Ricky and Rosy) and a red-eared slider named Fred.
